About Dr. Craig Singer, M.D.
Dr. Craig Singer was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is an Ivy league graduate, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Singer obtained his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY in 1995. Dr. Singer completed a pediatrics residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center 1998 and practiced general pediatrics for 7 years in Metro Detroit.
In 2008, Dr. Singer completed a 3-year dermatology residency, in conjunction with Northwest Dermatology Group, PC in Southfield, Michigan. His dermatological training included didactic sessions at Wayne State Department of Dermatology and the department of dermatopathology at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Singer maintains active board certification in dermatology through the American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS). Dr. Craig Singer practiced general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology at Northwest Dermatology Group from 2006 through 2017. In June of 2017, Dr, Singer founded his current practice, Craig Singer MD Dermatology, in Bingham Farms, Michigan. He sees patients of all ages with a variety of skin disorders.
In 2022, Dr. Singer founded Acne Center of Michigan, a dedicated clinic for the treatment of acne and acne scarring. Dr. Singer finds personal fulfillment in helping people that are distressed and emotionally burdened by acne.
He sets high standards for both his religious and personal life as well. Dr. Craig Singer is married to his wife Marla and is blessed to have three loving children. Outside of his career, Dr. Singer enjoys performing brit milah for the Detroit Jewish community, engaging in Judaic studies, cheering for Philly sports teams, cycling, and spending time with his family.
